At Schaefer Denture Clinic, your journey to a permanent solution for missing teeth is simple and personalized.
We assess your needs and discuss the best options for you. During this appointment we take preliminary impressions with stock trays.
We build impression trays that fit only you. Then using highly Accurate silicone material we take final impressions of your mouth to ensure the best fit possible. We also record the relationship of your jaws at this point.
Using wax bases and plastic teeth, we try the dentures in your mouth to confirm the jaw relationship and the look of the teeth. We do not proceed to finish the denture until you’re happy with the look. This can take a few appointments.
Using high impact acrylic, we change the wax of the try into the same plastic as the teeth. The teeth are bonded to the denture base permanently at this point.
During this appointment we make sure the look of the teeth is as planned. We assess the fit and the function of the dentures. At this point we will educate you on how to use, clean and maintain your denture correctly.
It takes up to 3 months to get used to a new dentures. During this time adjustments are free. We check up on you to make sure your dentures are functioning properly with no pain.
Ongoing support to maintain and care for your dentures. Dentures must be relined (refit) every 1-3 years and new dentures made every 5-7. This will ensure your bone structure and gums remain happy and health

- Daily Cleaning: Brush twice daily to prevent plaque build up and staining. Rinse your dentures after eating.
- Weekly soaking: Soaking your dentures in our available professional denture cleaner ‘Renew’ once a week, can soften any tough build ups and allow for easier removal.
