Complete Dentures

For a Smile That Suits You Perfectly

Complete dentures, also known as full dentures, are removable acrylic appliances meant to replace an entire arch of missing teeth.

Getting tightly-fitted complete dentures will not only restore the function and appearance of your teeth–they will give you the confidence to smile, eat and speak with ease, and prevent your lips and cheeks from sagging.

Why Choose Complete Dentures?

Fit and Functionality

Complete dentures restore a portion of the function of your bite. They are customized to fit the shape of your gums, which can keep your jaw bone healthy.

Time and Cost Efficiency

Complete denture treatment is more time and cost-efficient compared to implant-supported dentures.

Easy Maintenance

Because of its removable feature, complete dentures are easier to fabricate, adjust, and maintain compared to a non removable option.

Improved Self-Confidence

Complete dentures will also restore the appearance of your teeth, giving you a boost of confidence to speak with ease and smile more often.

What to Expect When You Get Complete Dentures?

1

Consultation and Assessment

Our team of denturists who highly specialize in dentures, will do a thorough examination and assessment of your tissues, gums, and level of bone left under your gums to know its overall condition and work closely with you on your treatment plan.

2

Impressions and Bite Records

Once we create a treatment plan, we will take two types of impressions and record custom bite and jaw relations to make sure your dentures will fit comfortably and function well.

3

Customization and Insertion

Once we have the mold of your dentures, with your help we will select the shape, quality, and colour of teeth. We will try them in to ensure you like them before we proceed in finishing your dentures.
Once finished, we will do an initial fitting to ensure that you are satisfied with the look and fit of your dentures.

4

Denture Hygiene and After Care

We will provide proper instructions on how to clean and maintain your new dentures and three months of free adjustments with after-insert care.

5

Getting Used to Complete Dentures

It will take time for you to get used to your new complete dentures. No matter how well they look or fit, it takes about 3 months to get used to them.

Remember, practice makes perfect. Wearing your dentures regularly despite the initial discomfort will help you adjust to your dentures faster.

However if you are in pain, please come in for an adjustment of the dentures.

Do You Need to Replace Complete Dentures?

To experience the full benefits and prevent tissue aggravation and bone loss, you should have your complete dentures refit every one to three years and replace them every five to seven. This will ensure the healthiest fit and extend the lifetime of your jaw bone.

If a 10-star rating were available, I would gratefully hand it to this team of talented, empathetic and funny people. While the news that my permanent teeth had to be replaced with a denture was devastating, the resulting new smile is way beyond expectation. My dentist was super impressed with Martina's excellent work, as am I. Thank you, thank you to this family team for your kindness and compassion and for all you do to make your clients smile brightly again!
